Don't Go it Alone..Join a Kinship Now

With pre-order players starting in 3 weeks now is the time to form your kinships. From beta testing I can tell you it's a must. Sure you can solo some parts but why be a Gollum, join a fellowship instead!

Announce here your wishes to start a clan, join a clan, and how to get a hold of you. Also announce which race you intend to play.

As a kinship member hosted by Gamersvault you will have your own forum catagory, your own irc channel (irc.gamersvault.net) "if you wish" and your own vent channel http://www.gamersvault.net/forum/sho...highlight=vent.

dam this game looks pretty bad ass. hmm i may have to try this. so im in for now. or at least when i can when im not working. well i just started the proccess so if i get it in time i will play the elf. but ya this game looks pretty cool.

I'll join up in to a Kinship, for sure! What's the plan, is GV gonna have an official Kinship? Are we waiting around for someone to volunteer to lead one?
I've got active membership in DEXM for GW so leading a kinship is definitely not on the books, but I'd be willing to help out other officers, or even be one ... or whatever they'll be called in game.

My main in beta is a Human champion named Carmanah (send me a pm in game if you see me around), but I've created classes from all the races, thus my low level: 9th. I'll most likely do the same on public beta just to reserve the names.

Now if only the bloody pre-order would get to Canada!!

Hey clunnar! It's good to see gamers vault is taking interest in LotRO I was missing you all :-p. I posted a recruitment thread for my kinship here: The Hokuten Knights. We are using the server Gladden and have our own ventrilo. I was wondering if I could get your help on some things to enhance the capability of this kinship in the making.
I guess I'll simply ask them here. We recieved web space with ventrilo and I was curious if it was possible to turn some of it into a website with a link to these forums for our forum usage. If you have any suggestions or anyone knows someone that could pull this off for us it would help out a lot by the time we get to end game content.

You guys are free to use these forums if you'd like, I think we would encourage it. If there isn't already a section, we can create a LotrO subforum for your or anyone's usage.

I don't really know if LotRO is worth getting. Quite frankly all the other LotR games sucked horrendously. Can anyone tell me if it's worth my time to dl and test it?

C - its a buy the game, monthly subscription style MMO.

Death's Fear - I'd say try the trial and see what you think. I enjoy the game and given that currently it holds the honor of both the #1 selling game in North America and is in the top ten of the highest review scored MMO's on release in history - I'd say alot of other people like it too.

But it may not be to your taste, you'd have to decide that yourself.
