How much would you pay for FF7?

I see em going for $80+ this game even went greatest hits. Has anyone else seen prices like this for a psx game?

What is so special about this game. It's Final Fantasy 7. Isn't this a fairly old game? Shouldn't the stores have enough copies to avoid competition and sell it at a normal price for a PSx game?

No they arent selling any new ones, and havent for a while.

Ahh, that is odd. Is there any specific reason for this or are they just making way for the newer versions?

Well its one of the best games sony put out and they dont make it anymore. this is 80+ for used ones.

i look on ebay and find it for under 40...GOOD LUCK i think i paid less then 20 or right at, a couple years ago, holding onto it for dear life, along w/ my other ff games
what's so special about it??? i dont know but i and everyone else LOVE that effin game!

Personally I thought it sucked and sold out FF to anime, but its like crack to alot of gamers.

FF7 is considered to have set the direction of the new FF series, isn't it? all the ones after (maybe not 11, didn't play it) were pretty similar.

This is messed up. $80 for a used psx game? Sorry. I'd rather not, thank you very much. The fact it's Final Fantasy should have absolutely no effect on price whatsoever, but yet it does. This world is already on it's way to hell in a woven wheat handbasket, so why should corporate big wigs not make us gamers suffer by outrageously pricing our favorite games, right?

i have ff7 for ps1 and i dont play it its scratched but still works :) personally i dont want it.
