arr help plz

so unlucky for me but when i turned my ps3 on this morning and when to play cod4 my ps3 would read the disc at first i didnt think much of it, but then after i had reset my ps3 numorus times it still did not work i have tryed a few things and it still doesnt seem to work at them moment i am refommating it
if any one has any ideas or has had this happened to them before could they please let me know how to fix it

nah every disc i put in doesnt work even dvds

you bump it or drop it? Laser could be out of alignment. How long you had it?

nah have never droped it or have damaged it at all

Sounds like laser took a shit on you hope is under warranty still. I dont know if th OS on those corrupt or not as far as that goes, but I can ask my repair tech next time he comes in to pick up a load to fix for me what common probs with ps3 are.

is disc scratched? or is laser dirty

Also try laser lense cleaner too if you have one. Is like a cd with little brushed on it.

shake it alittle and smack it from the top. it'll work just fine.

it always helps if you abuse your electronic equipment. thats what i do and everything seems to work afterwards. kick it one good time or hit it with a shoe or something it might work. you never know.
