| Veteran Member ![]() | [GTotd] 28.11.2007 - Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn - I have a secret... ![]() Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Ok, can I be totally honest with all of you? I didn't care much for this game. Way back when, I used to play Famicom for the Gameboy Advance. It was an all right strategy game. A lot of action and took forever to complete everything you want. There was a lot of replay value in the game, which I think is essential these days. I spent many hours entertaining myself to that title. Now comes the supervention for the Wii, Fire Emblem. Let me break it down in terms you can relate to. Fire Emblem has great playability and even better replay value, I bet I could put 60hours+ into this game just to perfect my characters and level ups, but that's about all there is to it. There's no online or any multiplayer options, the graphics and gameplay are about the same as they were for the GBA and the sound is less than impressive(all midi). The only good prop I have is that the storyline/playability is good, if you're into playing with yourself. But, as a good tip writer, I submit myself to this title anyways, to provide you with tips on how to smoothen your game experience. Let's start off with a simple unlock, shall we? Hard mode can be unlocked, like most other games, just by completing normal mode all the way through. Wow. Impressive, no? But, don't stop there. Play through normal mode again and you'll unlock a little more such as additional conversations in the info sections, Pelleas will be recruitable due to a new choice to let him live instead of waxing him like you did the first time around, and if you're lucky enough to see Ike talk to the Black Knight, Sephiran will join your party. You can also unlock a few extras in the Extras menu after you've completed the game. Battle records, Sound Room, Theater, Event Viewer. These are all tools in which you can go back and monitor your previews games/activity. Basically, if you're an improvement freak, you can sit back and try to break your old records. I love it when games keep stats, there's nothing more satisfying than knowing you hold the local records...that is until your cocky roommate decides to spend a week and a half trying to beat everything you did. ----For more tips and to submit your own tips and questions email me Servo@gamersvault.net or log on to IRC and join #totd
