| Veteran Member ![]() | [GTotd] 21.11.2007 - Assassin's Creed - Mini-Missions ![]() "Servo, have you played Assassin's Creed yet?" Yes. Thanks for giving me a whole 7 days to preview the game too. I mean, those of you who are asking about this information really should give me more than a week to figure this all out. :p There is a good reason as to why today's Tips are so late: I spent the day finishing Assassin's Creed just to write this small, probably to go unread, Game Tip of the day. That and the Minnesota Wild game is on, so I am trying to watch that while writing. Damned priorities. Considering how little time I've had for this game, I must say, it's a pretty slick piece of entertainment. The voice acting in this title is a bit lackluster, but the overall gameplay makes up for it. If you were a fan of Prince of Persia, I would think you'd be into this(if you already haven't picked it up). Today I will be covering the mini-missions. There's 5 mini-missions in this game. As with the rest of the game, as you'll learn after it unfolds, these mini-missions become repetitive. I'm not talking Space Invaders repetitive, I'm talking all my old jokes repetition. Yeah. Once you figure them out the first time, you'll be able to complete them with ease over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. That much. Yep. Onto the mini-missions! Eavesdropping Eavesdropping missions are probably the easiest to complete. Basically, just get within range of any target then sit down on a bench between two characters. Once you've seated yourself, point the camera toward the target character and press the "lock-on" button. Follow this by pressing the head button and the camera should zoom in on the target while he or she has a conversation. When the conversation is over, the objective will be completed.Pickpocketing This is a lot like eavesdropping mini-mission. Pickpocketing objectives require that you find a target and lock on while you are nearby, without being too close. Once again, stand around and wait for the target to complete a conversation and he'll begin walking away. Follow slowly behind the target and keep an eye on the status of your social awareness. The target is always suspicious, never attempt the pickpocket during this time. Wait for the social awareness to drop to complete unawareness. After you've completed that, slowly walk up behind the target and press the pickpocket button. Viola. The other 3 mini-missions are Interrogation, Saving Citizens and View Points. But as new as this game is, I'm not going to give everything away just yet. ;) I'll leave some sort of mystery to this game.
