Doubloons: 338.20 ![]() | Having played both 1.6 and back for a couple years, as well as Source. Source is the superior game, better graphics BY FAR. Game play and game mechanics are also more fun. I see all the 1.6 always complaining "oh even the newbs can own on Source" That is the stupidest argument ever. The skilled will always dominate the newbs, that just the way both games are designed, I've played both, and guess what. The newbs are still getting owned, just like always. |

Doubloons: 102.60 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes but do graphics make a game? Of course not, and I have played CSS and yes the noobs will still be noobs and get owned, but CSS is so much easier. I mean it's even been said, spraying is so much easier. 1.6 has a lot of the more hardcore players that go like 50 and 8 but still. 1.6 is based more on skill whereas CSS is based towards all and looks. IMO its much more satisfying to kill a person with mad skills with a scout then a whole buncha noobs with a spray gun.

And contrary to popular belief, graphics do matter, sure they don't make the game, but they are still a very important element, adding to the enjoyment. |
