Steam (HL2 Mods)

Just wanted to point out that recently I've been playing CS Source a lot lately and I've also been delving into the mods available through the links on steam. I have found a few that are worth noting...yes, just a few. Not to say that the others are cool and worthy of a fair trial, but the few I've chosen have been deemed worthy by me because of two things:

1) community
2) Design/Flow

First up, The Hidden!
The Hidden - Source
This is an online mod that pits up a team of 9 special operations members to find and kill "the hidden", while he is trying to kill them as well. Only problem is he happens to be a result of some sort of experiment, grating him super-human abilities...such as invisibility. The online community is one of the more lively ones as well, so there's always people playing on several servers.

Second...Pirates, Vikings, and Knights II

Another online mod that's fun to play. And yes, you get to pick 1 of the six characters from the three classes, granting you the choice of 2 pirates, vikings, or knights. In every match there is a different objective, pitting the 3 teams against one another! You know you've always wanted to kill a knight as a pirate...
Again the online community is always playing, so join up!

I can't remember any other ones right now, as I'm at work. I dare you to check those ones out for starters.

i used to play natural selection for hl1. i havent seen any mods that could match the depth of gameplay transitions they made. there coming out with ns2 with a custom built engine.

i havnt played hl2 since it came out. no cable internet right now otherwise i would know a ton of mods that are out. i liked playing garrys mod for fun tho i think u need to pay now tho.

Ive been playing age of chivalry...ive always wanted a sword and shield type mmo 1st person game its a little too laggy for my tastes but bows crossbows spears swords and shields is fun

that pirates game actually looks alot like it but I didnt see it in my list to download it
