The times for me are those spontaneous moments in a chat when somebody says something that triggers inspiration and nobody knows just how far that inspiration leads.

Or when I have the ability to give something that makes another happy to receive it and being a humble person by nature I'm the one left speechless (thats a quandary in itself) when given thanks... I am indebted to GV and trying to pay it back I merely pay it forward.

Hands down the best times I have had are in game with many of you and taking part in the team effort. Only recently in hc we have endeavored to make bumpers as a group and all starting at level 1 ... it is always a challenge to me to prove the viability of using khalims will and although you guys wont admit it to me I see your envy

ok, seriously, the best time had to be my very first day here at GV and I was fortunate enough with my timing to partake in a free-walk that was hosted by Cynleah... I will never forget that first one...

... but then there are the raffles and its always nice to win

... or being given the opportunity to kill dclones for the deadclones channels

... or tristing

meh this is the worst time I've had just trying to single out THE one time that stands out amongst the many good times I have had here ... I guess when weighed against all the rest, the best has to be just meeting all of you

God, I joined GV on a recommendation from a friend and I've never regretted it. With GV:
in Diablo, my:
-First char > lvl 70
-First char to reach Hell
-First time in an Uber
-First time meeting dclone
-Then killing said dclone
-First upper tier Runeword that was self-made!!
-First self-made working character build

in IRC/Forums:
-Introduction to a clean trading community!
-a H/O in gv-net... (that was wow)
-Meeting awesome people like boo, space, pervy, madd, kingdom, oneiros, blimey, etc. etc. etc.
-Finding my e-home
-A great wealth of community/togetherness
-Amazing.

I have had many great times! When I started I had many questions, so I asked. Then I was so nervous and was still so new that I asked many of them again, and agian, did I mention again? Still they were answered, even today I still ask. Joining Gv has given me a home! Someplace that when the world is kicking me down and life is dumping on me I can find some joy.

I remember joining my first trist as a leecher and I was like OMG! OMG! Look at my levels. I wonder if they know I am getting this many? OMG! WOW! I am still getting levels! I can't still be getting them this quick. OMG! Still going! WOW! Level 80 and all I did was stand there!

I had a GREAT time learning to trist! Dom24 and Randios were great teachers in the setup phase!

I had wonderful times in trist(getting pointers from Roflman and many others) learning how to make my din, helping me remake my din because I messed the first one up.

I LOVE raffles!! I also LOVE raffling!(ok you knew that was coming)


Most all the best times I have on Gv are the ones where I can talk with the people on the irc to get to know them better!

While posting my my raffles tomorrow I came up with a list of events that were important to me so I picked the "best" time I had from that list.

I was put in Ignore List on my very first day here!!! So best is: every day after first one!

Well... I suppose it's time to post my best time... seeing as I made the post Lol...

Anyways... It was back in 2009 for GV4 when I got voted for master advisor and got a temp voice in the main channel... then about a month later i got a perm voice and I was so happy with myself... and just poured my life into gv.
