Sorry to anyone who lost their stuff, but as a one key wonder with a 0 cheat/scam record I really believe this is best for the real diablo enthusiast. what they should do now is wipe the realms clean and start from the beginning.

I still maintain my theory today that I had when d2 started: The whole Diablo 2 project is a proving griounds for mm/morpg developers where cheating and hacking was not necessarily encouraged publicly, but was allowed consciously. Be assured Blizzard knows exactly what you are doing. Now after years of research into just what and how people will exploit the game and networks they know what to look for and how to prevent it. Of course there will be new cheaters and hackers, nut diablo 3 and the new bnet will almost assuredly be designed to prevent any possible exploits that are in use today.

Im going to blow the dust off my d2 disk now and refresh my toons.

doing something you enjoy isnt a waste of time nutty. if it werent for a friend i met on d2, i would never be at gv, and i ENJOY both d2 and gv... so nope, not a waste at all...

anyone have any idea if d2 would give us a second chance... i havent played d2 in a while so when i went on i got the msg about my keys being on the list. im gessing it was because of my friend using my acc in his loader.

i just really hope they give us another chance

damn I think I need a clean key to check and see if i got my accounts banned too :(
